Role: Model Base Enterprise (MBE) Specialist.
Location: Onsite | Cincinnati, OH.
Duration: Initial Term: Six-Month (Possibility of Extension).
Start Date: ASAP.
Eligibility: US Citizen.
Clearance: Secret.
Experience: At Least Seven Years.
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Linux and Windows server administration experience
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Perl, Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on application management and administration experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot incidents and resolve problems, escalating when required
- Ability to interface with product teams and software vendors for installation and support needs
- Proficiency in documenting procedures, solutions, and workarounds
- Experience performing regression testing for key functionality
DESIRED:
- Teamcenter or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) administration experience
- NX or similar CAD administration experience
- Familiarity with automation tools and techniques
- Understanding of LEAN principles and the ITIL framework
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle processes, including test-driven development and quality assurance
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps)
- Security+ Certification
- General knowledge of virtual environments
- Windows PC configuration and optimization experience
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across development and support teams to address incidents and resolve problems
- Triage server and application outages to ensure minimal downtime
- Support product teams with application deployments across multiple environments
- Perform software upgrades and maintenance to preserve system reliability and parity
- Conduct regression testing during release cycles to ensure functionality and quality
- Coach end users on best practices, ensuring they are equipped to use systems effectively and efficiently.
