Job Title: Director – AI
Job Location: Cincinnati, OH – hybrid
Job Type: Direct Hire / Full Time

 

A central part of the Director, AI role is establishing the conditions that allow intelligent systems to function reliably over time. This includes designing how information moves through the organization, defining how it is validated and protected, and ensuring outputs are trusted by the people who rely on them. Success will be measured by how naturally these capabilities are adopted and how clearly they improve outcomes.

The individual will spend significant time identifying where advanced automation and modeling can remove friction or create leverage. Ideas will be tested quickly, refined through real use, and, when proven, transitioned into durable solutions. Close partnership with functional leaders is essential, as these tools are meant to live inside existing workflows rather than alongside them.

Beyond individual solutions, the role is responsible for shaping a cohesive internal ecosystem. Previously disconnected sources of information will be brought into alignment, shared standards will be established, and guardrails will be put in place to ensure reliability and appropriate use. As adoption grows, the role will also cultivate a network of practitioners who share patterns, reuse solutions, and accelerate progress across teams.

Over time, this position will evolve into a small but influential capability. The leader will act as an internal advisor on effective and responsible use of advanced technologies, build and mentor contributors, and work closely with technical, commercial, operational, and administrative partners to ensure efforts remain grounded in real priorities rather than experimentation for its own sake.
