Job Title: Cogito Reporting/Analytics Manager
Location: REMOTE

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epic Cogito Manager to lead and support an analytics team responsible for the design, build, and delivery of Epic Cogito solutions. This role is a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on technical work, ideal for a leader who enjoys advising teams while remaining actively involved in Cogito configuration, design, and testing. The position manages a team of Data Engineers and BI Analysts and partners closely with leadership across analytics, interfaces, and cognitive computing.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy (Approximately 80%)
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 15 Data Engineers and BI Analysts supporting Epic Cogito.
- Provide strategic guidance on Cogito configuration, design, and architecture.
- Advise the team on best practices and proactively identify and mitigate technical or delivery risks.
- Ensure alignment of analytics solutions with organizational goals and Epic best practices.
- Support project planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple initiatives.
Hands-On Technical Work (Approximately 20%)
- Actively participate in the build, configuration, design, and testing of Epic Cogito and related tools.
- Provide hands-on expertise during complex build efforts and critical project phases.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities, from design through go-live.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience managing an Epic build team supporting Cogito and its related suite of tools.
- Active Epic Cogito Certification (required).
- Proven experience with multiple end-to-end Epic Cogito implementations (not limited to post–go-live support).
- Strong hands-on background in Cogito build, configuration, design, and testing.
- Demonstrated ability and interest in remaining partially hands-on in a leadership role.
- Experience working with the Cogito Analytics Catalog and Metrics Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Cogito tools, including but not limited to reporting, data models, and analytics components within the Cogito suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with technical execution.
- Experience guiding teams through complex Epic analytics implementations.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
