Title: Data Engineer (Contract)
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite
Duration: 4–6 months (possible extension)
Experience: 5–10 years
We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support and optimize a data platform built on Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake. This is a hands-on contract role with a strong consultative component.
What You’ll Do

Build and optimize pipelines using SQL and PySpark

Stabilize bronze (raw) data and improve silver/gold layers

Reduce overnight batch processing time

Consult on pipeline design and performance improvements

Split time ~50% coding / ~50% collaboration & design
Tech Stack

Azure Data Factory (SAP HANA extracts)

Databricks (PySpark, SQL)

Snowflake

Power BI
What We’re Looking For

Strong Databricks experience (required)

Snowflake background

SAP ECC / SAP HANA data experience preferred

Comfortable in a hybrid environment

Open to local, domestic remote, or nearshore candidates (no offshore)
