Software Developer (SQL)
We’re hiring a hands-on developer to support finance teams. This is a business-facing role focused on analytics, reporting, and production support, with real exposure to the investment lifecycle.
The role is roughly 60% development / 40% stakeholder engagement, ideal for someone strong in SQL who enjoys working closely with front-office partners to solve practical problems.
What you’ll do

Build and support analytics and reporting solutions using SQL (on-prem & Databricks) and Power BI

Partner directly with front-office and business stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate insights

Troubleshoot production issues and support BAU reporting

Enhance data extracts, automation, and internal reporting platforms

Learn the business and embed yourself in day-to-day decision making
What we’re looking for

Strong SQL fundamentals (required) with stored procedures and views

Experience in a business-facing development or analytics role

Power BI experience preferred; Databricks a plus, not required

Clear communicator with curiosity and drive to learn the business
Environment

SQL Server, Databricks, Power BI, Excel; occasional .NET/Core

Hybrid 3 days/week in office (Charlotte-based team)
