Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Charlotte NC – Onsite
Employment Type: Contract
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Contract Specialist to support the Procurement Category Management team on a contingent basis. This role is responsible for reviewing, redlining, and negotiating a wide range of procurement-related agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, change orders, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). The specialist will ensure contract terms align with business requirements, company policies, regulatory standards, and established risk tolerances while proposing commercially sound alternatives that protect the organization’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Review and Negotiation
- Review and redline procurement contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives and risk standards
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks while recommending practical, business-focused solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal approval processes
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and version control
- Support contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes from drafting through execution
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, sourcing guidelines, and approval workflows
Qualifications
- Experience reviewing and negotiating procurement-related agreements
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
