Position: Project Coordinator
Work Location: Downtown Fort Lauderdale

6-month contract to hire

Position Summary:
The major focus of this position is to support Technology Operations and Security Project Managers with Infrastructure projects of various sizes and complexities. The position includes heavy coordination with Technology Operations Technical Leads, vendors, and client stores around the country to install hardware, software, and other infrastructure devices and components.

This position also includes managing small Infrastructure and Security projects.

Organizational Relationships:
The Project Coordinator is a member of the technology Operations department.  The incumbent will have daily interactions with stakeholders from the various client stores, technical and business areas, corporate departments, and external vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Supports Project Managers by tracking project hardware rollouts to client stores, Collision Centers, Data Centers, Corporate Departments and other areas.
  2. Tracks equipment purchases, shipping, and installation at client locations using MS Excel.
  3. Documents issues and risks and assists the Project Managers in addressing and resolving them.
  4. Supports decisions made by the Project Manager and takes timely independent actions in pursuit of project priorities as directed by the Project Manager.
  5. Manages small projects and possibly larger ones depending on experience and abilities, including resources and financial project planning.
  6. Is responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the development of project schedules and other related documentation.
  7. Supports the Technical Leads in creating the necessary established documentation to pitch new projects.
  8. Works closely with PM team members and project stakeholders.
  9. Understands the product being delivered and its organizational impact by partnering with Technical Leads and other team members.
  10. Supports the processes in place which are required to meet project deliverables.
  11. Support development of project Change Requests impacting scope, time, and budget
  12. Work with vendors, stores, technical teams, and others to coordinate daily activities and project implementations
  13. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers
  14. Adheres to established project management coordination processes and methodologies
  15. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  1. College graduate with 3 + years of work experience as Project Coordinator or similar position
  2. Results-oriented team player and good relationships builder
  3. Experienced collaborating with teams at various levels.
  4. Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)
  5. Experience with Project Management tools desirable
  6. Maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
  7. Excellent people, communication, and relationship building skills
  8. Must meet company’s requirements for employment
  9. Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
