Job: Business Analyst – IT PMO
Location: Doral, FL (Onsite Monday–Thursday)
Job Type: Contract (12 months to start, long-term engagement)
Referral Bonus: +/-$2000
Role:
The Business Analyst will join a fast-paced Enterprise IT PMO, supporting multiple technology initiatives across infrastructure, network, cloud, and application environments.
This role focuses heavily on requirements gathering, process mapping, and data flow analysis to ensure projects are clearly defined and executed with minimal architectural friction. The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker who understands how technology ecosystems interact and can document both current state and future state processes from end to end.
The Business Analyst will partner closely with Project Managers and cross-functional IT teams to translate business needs into clear technical documentation, enabling efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis (50%)
- Gather and document detailed current state and future state requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and ask probing questions to uncover full system impacts.
- Identify cross-system dependencies and technical implications of business requirements.
- Ensure complete documentation covering end-to-end business and technical workflows.
Process & Data Flow Mapping (30%)
- Develop process flow diagrams and system interaction models using tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
- Create data flow diagrams illustrating system integrations and dependencies.
- Clarify business logic and ensure technical teams understand downstream system impacts.
- Support architecture alignment by documenting how systems interact across the ecosystem.
Stakeholder Collaboration (20%)
- Partner closely with Project Managers to support IT PMO initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Present documented requirements, workflows, and system impacts to project teams.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, network, application, and architecture teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within enterprise IT environments.
- Strong experience gathering requirements for infrastructure, cloud, network, or enterprise application projects.
- Experience documenting current state and future state processes.
- Hands-on experience building process flow diagrams and data flow maps.
- Experience identifying cross-system dependencies and integration impacts.
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working closely with Project Managers and technical teams.
- Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
- Ability to ramp up quickly and operate independently within 30–45 days.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting IT PMO environments.
- Exposure to infrastructure, network, cloud, or enterprise application initiatives.
- Experience working in high-visibility, fast-paced enterprise environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Curious, analytical, and highly detail-oriented.
- Strong communicator who asks thoughtful “why” questions to uncover complete requirements.
- Able to think A ? Z, understanding the full ecosystem impact of changes.
- Proactive and independent with minimal onboarding support.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with tight timelines.
Additional Details:
- 4 days onsite required (South Florida).
- Limited but possible travel to support deployments or technology initiatives.
- Long-term contract (12 months to start).
- High urgency role supporting multiple IT initiatives.
