Job Title: Epic Orders Analyst
Job Location: Sarasota, FL (Hybrid)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Certified Orders Analyst to support our organization’s implementation and long-term optimization of Epic. This role will play a critical part in testing, training support, go-live readiness, and post–go-live optimization as we prepare for our October 2026 Epic activation. The selected candidate will support the remaining implementation lifecycle and remain with the organization to provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and operational support following go-live and Hypercare.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation Phase (Pre–Go-Live)
- Lead build, configuration, and validation of Epic Orders application workflows.
- Participate in design sessions to translate clinical and operational requirements into system functionality.
- Develop and execute unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts.
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, operational leaders, and IT teams to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Support data migration, integrated testing, and workflow validation.
- Assist with go-live planning and readiness activities.
Go-Live & Hypercare
- Provide at-the-elbow support during go-live and Hypercare.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in real time.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues appropriately.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruption to clinical operations.
Post–Go-Live (Ongoing Support & Optimization)
- Serve as the primary application owner for Epic Orders.
- Maintain system configuration and perform routine upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and system enhancements.
- Support change management and enhancement requests.
- Participate in governance committees and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Epic Orders Certification (required).
- 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Orders in a healthcare environment
- Full lifecycle Epic implementation experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows related to provider order entry.
- Experience with integrated testing and interdisciplinary build coordination.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
