Job Title: Jr. Scrum Master
Type: Contract
Location: LATAM – Nearshore
Role Overview
The Scrum Master will support three development teams made up of both onshore and offshore resources. This role is responsible for driving Agile maturity, fostering collaboration, and enabling teams to deliver high quality work more efficiently. You will guide teams toward a stronger Agile culture, support Product Owners, and help streamline workflows across departments. Strong communication, organization, and servant-leadership skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Guide teams toward greater focus and organization through effective sprint planning, reviews, and Agile practices.

Serve as an Agile consultant across departments, promoting cross functional teamwork and alignment.

Plan and coordinate workflows, task assignments, and goals across multiple teams.

Apply expert knowledge of project development and Agile methodologies to support ongoing work.

Write strong, credible documentation and deliver work under tight deadlines.

Monitor progress across teams and proactively engage employees to ensure delivery success.

Support and educate Product Owners and Product Analysts, especially around backlog grooming and maintenance.

Build partnerships across departments to streamline processes and increase organizational responsiveness.

Prepare and present monthly status reports to upper management.

Identify and escalate Agile process issues, recommending strategies aligned with organizational culture.

Teach Agile concepts including task definition, velocity, and burndown metrics to staff.
Required Skills and Experience

Minimum four years of experience working with Agile methodology.

Scrum Master certification (CSM).

Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, and Lean methodologies.

Deep knowledge of Scrum practices and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).

Familiarity with software development environments.

Experience with mainstream project management tools such as Jira and Confluence

Excellent communication skills and proven servant leadership.

Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Exceptional organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
-
Background supporting enterprise level planning or business process improvement.

Exposure to scaling Agile environments.
