Job Title: Functional Analyst – Financial Systems & Reporting
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Functional Analyst to support the analysis, configuration, quality assurance, and support of enterprise-level financial systems and reporting applications. This role will focus on budgeting and forecasting processes and play a key part in supporting cloud-based financial solutions (such as Anaplan) and in-unit applications. The ideal candidate will combine financial acumen with strong analytical and communication skills to deliver effective, scalable business solutions.
- Sr. Functional Analyst
- Liaison between the Product Delivery team (Product Owner and the Business Teams) and the Technical Delivery team
- Required to have a full understanding of the requirements and breaking the features into stories and task.
- Ensuring test cases are well documented
- Manage the Jira Scrum board
- Follow and be a champion of Agile scrum methodology
- Make sure features, stories, tasks are created properly in Jira
- Responsible for prioritizing deliverables in Jira
- Responsible for identifying and communicating risks, delays, new issues
- Testing
- Partnering with the Product Delivery team with communication and hand off when code is ready to be handed over for UAT
- Managing the go live tasks and deliverables for new model go live and supporting existing models (new year)
- Provide support to end users
- Provide support to the Model Builders with knowledge sharing
- Testing code changes before it is given to the business testers to test.
- Responsible for testing delivered code on time and with accuracy.
- Responsible for creating and understanding the requirement before handing off to development team for development
- Responsible for identifying and communicating risks, delays, new issues
