Contract Cloud Solution Architect – Azure | Hybrid | Charlotte, NC
We’re looking for a hands-on Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize large-scale Azure cloud solutions. This role bridges engineering, architecture, and business needs, ensuring secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms.
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement enterprise cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Advise engineering teams on best practices, architecture patterns, and scalability
- Collaborate with security, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient systems
- Evaluate and integrate cloud services, IaC, and automation tools
- Lead architecture reviews, cloud adoption strategies, and migration planning
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, AKS/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in cloud architecture, solution design, and implementation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments
- Excellent communication skills to work with technical and business stakeholders
