Stonebranch Admin/Developer
Location: LATAM (remote)
Contract
Role Summary:
The Stonebranch Admin/Developer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise job scheduling and automation workflows using the Stonebranch platform.
This role partners with project managers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable automation solutions, while ensuring alignment with platform standards and operational best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Gather and document requirements for new and existing Stonebranch workflows
- Design workflow solutions, including UML diagrams where appropriate
- Build, configure, and deploy workflows using the Stonebranch platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve workflow issues, ensuring stability and performance
- Promote workflows across environments (dev, test, prod)
- Monitor workflows for performance, failures, and optimization opportunities
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to platform best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate development, testing, and deployment progress
- Maintain accurate updates in Azure DevOps or other tracking tools
Optimization & Reporting
- Identify and implement workflow improvements and performance optimizations
- Develop dashboards/widgets to support business and operational visibility
- Report on workflow health, platform usage, and licensing impacts
Governance & Support
- Participate in planning and prioritization of new development efforts
- Support audits and compliance activities as needed
- Analyze workflow trends, incident data, and deployment metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to documentation and annual performance summaries
Required Skills
- Experience with job scheduling or automation platforms (e.g., Stonebranch, IBM Sterling)
- Understanding of scheduling concepts (triggers, calendars, dependencies)
- Experience with SFTP/FTP and file transfer processes
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, NSGs, etc.)
- Familiarity with file encryption and secure transport protocols (PGP, TLS)
- Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Preferred Qualifications
- Stonebranch Developer and/or Administrator certification
- Experience with UML or workflow design documentation
- Familiarity with CI/CD or deployment pipelines
