Role
The Senior Analyst – PMO plays a critical role within the Product Development PMO, supporting strategic shipboard and land-based development initiatives. This position partners closely with Project Managers and Program Managers to drive execution across high-priority, high-visibility, and multi-departmental projects.
The Sr. Analyst supports large-scale programs while independently managing small to mid-sized initiatives. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional communication, operational awareness, financial tracking capability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to established project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Support Project and Program Managers in executing project priorities and key decisions.
- Lead small to mid-sized projects, including resource planning and financial forecasting.
- Assist with development and maintenance of detailed project schedules and documentation.
- Partner with stakeholders and Product Owners to understand product impact and organizational dependencies.
- Identify operational changes required to meet project deliverables.
- Support development and tracking of Change Requests impacting scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with vendors to support project execution and daily implementation activities.
- Prepare project status reports including schedule, budget, forecast, and risk updates.
- Coordinate meetings, communication plans, and maintain detailed documentation including meeting minutes.
- Manage vendor quotations, change directives, and change notices.
- Enter and maintain project data in PM tools (status updates, forecasts, schedules, financial tracking).
- Act as point of contact for escalated project matters.
- Support project close-out activities and administrative deliverables (budget reconciliation, documentation finalization, transition support).
- Maintain flexibility and responsiveness to shifting priorities and project changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2–3+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present clearly at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret technical and financial data.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
- Strong financial acumen and spreadsheet modeling skills.
- Experience working in collaborative, multicultural environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Product Development, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or ScrumMaster certification.
- Experience with Smartsheet or similar PM platforms.
- BI Analytics and Data Visualization experience (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience applying formal project management methodologies.
