Job Title: SAP IBP Solutions Owner
Type: Contract
Location: LATAM
Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Solutions Owner to lead planning initiatives across demand, supply, and S&OP functions. This individual will act as the bridge between business and IT, owning solution design, driving project execution, and shaping the future roadmap of the IBP platform. The role will also support evaluation of new SAP capabilities, including AI-driven enhancements within supply chain planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead project meetings, gather requirements from business stakeholders, and ensure alignment between business needs and IBP solutions
- Review documentation, functional designs, and guide solution delivery across business and IT teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders and enterprise architects to define and align the IBP roadmap with business strategy
- Prioritize initiatives and guide long-term platform evolution based on business impact and feasibility
- Provide light support and troubleshooting for IBP-related functional or data issues during project phases
- Ensure system stability, governance, and continuity while enhancements are being delivered
- Partner with internal teams and SAP to evaluate new capabilities, including AI use cases within supply chain planning
- Assess business value, feasibility, and requirements (data, integrations, resources) for implementing new solutions
Requirements
- Strong overall experience in SAP, supply chain, or enterprise systems
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations
- Strong understanding of IBP architecture with prior hands-on configuration experience
- Proven experience with S&OP and Supply and Demand Planning within IBP
- Exposure to Inventory Optimization and Response & Supply Planning is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of SAP ERP (MM and PP) and how data integrates with IBP
- Ability to work across business and IT teams to gather requirements and drive alignment
- Experience translating functional requirements into scalable solutions and technical designs
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead discussions and manage expectations
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and broader SAP ecosystem is a plus
- Exposure to SAP innovation areas (e.g., AI capabilities) and ability to assess business value
