Title: Microsoft Copilot & Power Platform Administrator / Engineer
Location: Hybrid / Remote (East Coast)
Type: Long Term Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform Administrator/Engineer to own the administration, governance, and operationalization of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent 365, and the Power Platform. This role sits at the intersection of low-code and pro-code, ensuring Copilot- and agent-based solutions are deployed securely, governed consistently, and scaled reliably across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate brings deep platform administration expertise, strong automation and engineering skills, and the ability to translate enterprise policy into repeatable, secure operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration (Power Platform & Copilot)
- Administer Power Platform environments, including DLP policies, capacity management, solutions, and Power Automate flows using the Power Platform Admin Center.
- Configure, maintain, and govern Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio environments, including topics, actions/plugins, connectors, publishing, and lifecycle management.
- Manage tenant-level AI controls such as data movement policies, plugin approvals, application permissions, and external data connections.
Governance, Reporting & Audits
- Produce and automate Copilot usage, adoption, and licensing reports using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related tooling.
- Build and maintain governance dashboards covering environments, makers, connectors, solution inventory, and DLP violations.
- Conduct periodic audits (access reviews, DLP compliance, plugin approvals, data residency) and track remediation through closure.
Engineering & Automation
- Design and maintain administrative automations, including environment inventories, governance alerts, and compliance workflows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and deployment scripts to promote solutions across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Standardize environment provisioning and governance through policy-as-code, scripting, and automation (PowerShell, CLI).
Security, Privacy & Compliance
- Apply enterprise security guardrails for Copilot and agent-based solutions, including authentication, authorization, data access controls, and approval workflows.
- Partner with security, risk, and governance teams to review exceptions and ensure alignment with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with platform owners, security, data, and product teams to support enterprise AI and Copilot rollout initiatives.
- Onboard internally built and third?party agents into Copilot through Agent 365.
- Provide Tier 3 platform support and guide makers on safe, scalable, and compliant design patterns.
- Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and platform administration standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience administering the Microsoft Power Platform, including environments, DLP policies, capacity, ALM, and Power Automate governance.
- Hands-on experience configuring Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, including topics, actions/plugins, connectors, and publishing.
- Experience integrating agents with internal and third?party systems using APIs, connectors, and service endpoints.
- Knowledge of agent orchestration, state management, testing, observability, and quality controls.
- Proven ability to bridge low-code and pro-code solutions, integrating Copilot Studio with custom services and applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise identity, security, and governance models as applied to AI and automation platforms.
- Experience with scripting and automation, including CI/CD tooling such as GitLab, PowerShell, and CLI-based tooling.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate policy and standards into repeatable operational controls.
