Senior Epic Cadence Analyst

Compensation: $98,779 – $150,633

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Epic Cadence Analyst to support scheduling, referral, and ambulatory patient access workflows within a growing Epic environment. This role requires a strong hands-on Epic builder who can independently manage complex workflow configuration, support operational initiatives, and collaborate closely with clinical and revenue cycle stakeholders.
This position will play a key role in supporting ambulatory expansion efforts, optimizing patient scheduling and referral workflows, and enhancing patient self-service capabilities across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and support Epic Cadence scheduling and referral workflows
- Support ambulatory clinic expansion and new workflow implementations
- Configure provider templates, visit types, scheduling rules, and encounter workflows
- Optimize referral management and patient access processes
- Troubleshoot complex scheduling and workflow issues within Epic
- Participate in Epic upgrades, testing, and ongoing system optimization efforts
- Collaborate with operational leaders, clinic staff, and application teams to improve workflows
- Support patient self-service and self-scheduling initiatives
- Assist with adjacent patient access applications as needed
Required Qualifications
- Epic Cadence certification required
- 5+ years of hands-on Epic Cadence build experience
- Strong experience supporting scheduling and referral workflows
- Experience working within ambulatory/outpatient environments
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and optimize Epic workflows
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in fast-paced healthcare IT environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Prelude, Grand Central, Welcome, or Hello World workflows
- Exposure to broader patient access or revenue cycle applications
- Experience supporting ambulatory growth or clinic expansion initiatives
- Familiarity with self-scheduling and patient self-service workflows
