Job Title: STARLIMS Developer
Location: Remote
Job-Type: Contract
Salary Range: $75 – $100/hr.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a contract STARLIMS Developer to support multiple upcoming deployments and ongoing enhancements within a regulated laboratory environment. This role will focus on STARLIMS v12 configuration/customization, interface development, reporting, and integration work supporting laboratory equipment and business systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Configure, customize, and support STARLIMS v12.1.4 applications and workflows
- Develop and maintain interfaces between STARLIMS and laboratory equipment/software platforms including:
- WinkQCL (Bacterial Endotoxin Testing)
- Celsis (Rapid Microbial Testing)
- Participate in interface architecture and data flow design discussions
- Create and support integrations with CRM and other enterprise systems
- Develop reports using Crystal Reports
- Design and maintain barcode labels using Zebra Programming Language (ZPL)
- Support deployments, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements
- Collaborate within Agile teams operating in 2-week sprint cycles
Required Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing STARLIMS v12
- Experience implementing interfaces within STARLIMS environments
- Strong SQL development skills
- Experience integrating laboratory equipment/software with LIMS platforms
- Understanding of interface design and data flow architecture
- Experience supporting functional audits or regulated environments
- Familiarity with STARLIMS scripting language (SSL)
Nice to Have Experience:
- HTML5 development experience
- .NET development experience
- Experience with STARLIMS 12.6 backend
- Experience integrating CRM systems
- Experience with Power BI or QlikView data visualization/reporting tools
