Strategic Sourcing Specialist II/III (Technology Procurement)
Location: Remote or On-Site
Duration: 2-Month Contract

Position Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support technology procurement initiatives, including software sourcing, vendor management, contract review, and RFP execution. This role will partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate vendors, manage sourcing activities, and drive procurement decisions from requirements gathering through vendor onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for software, SaaS, technology solutions, and IT services.
- Conduct vendor due diligence, contract reviews, and commercial evaluations.
- Extract and summarize key contract terms, risks, pricing, and licensing details for stakeholder review.
- Coordinate technology vendor assessments with architecture, security, and business teams.
- Gather business requirements and develop vendor evaluation criteria.
- Manage vendor selection, negotiations, onboarding, and procurement processes.
- Lead and support technology-focused RFP, RFI, and RFQ initiatives.
- Analyze vendor proposals and provide sourcing recommendations using data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management with a focus on technology.
- Strong experience sourcing software, SaaS, and IT-related solutions.
- Proven ability to review and negotiate software and technology contracts.
- Experience leading or supporting technology RFPs and vendor selection processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic Sourcing Specialist III experience.
- Knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, and technology procurement best practices.
- Experience working with architecture, security, or technology governance teams.
