Epic Bridges & Interfaces Analyst Job Description Location: Remote with some travel to FL Employment Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12+ months Overview A leading healthcare organization is seeking a mid-level Epic Bridges & Interfaces Analyst to contribute to the design, implementation, and support of clinical and enterprise applications that improve patient care, research, and operational performance. This role supports moderately complex initiatives, partners closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, and helps share technical knowledge with junior team members. Key Responsibilities ? Plan, design, configure, build, test, implement, and maintain clinical and enterprise applications, including moderately complex Epic system components. ? Design, develop, and unit test Epic Bridges interfaces (e.g., ADT, ORM/ORU, SIU, results, charges as applicable), including message validation, error handling, and reprocessing strategies. ? Troubleshoot multifaceted issues spanning applications, hardware, interfaces, and databases. ? Monitor system performance and stability for assigned applications and integrations. ? Perform quality assurance and integrated testing to ensure reliability and alignment with organizational standards. ? Support and develop application-specific enhancements and reports tied to clinical and operational priorities. ? Create and maintain system documentation and build specifications. ? Provide ongoing operational support for assigned applications. Required Qualifications ? Epic Certification: Current, active Epic Bridges certification (required) ? Epic Badge: Data Courier badge (required) ? Experience: Minimum 5 years of Epic system build experience, including successful implementations (high complexity) ? Advanced knowledge of application support and development ? Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills ? Experience with network-related interface activities ? Strong documentation skills (build decisions, configuration, and technical specs) Education ? Bachelor’s degree (Business, Information Systems, Healthcare, or related) strongly preferred ? Will consider an Associate’s degree with 2 additional years of direct experience Nice to Have Qualifications ? Cloverleaf certification Level I, II, or III ? Experience with workflow analysis and translating operational needs into technical solutions ? Background in healthcare operations (clinical, billing, scheduling, access services, HIM, etc.) ? Knowledge of hospital/clinic clinical, business, and operational workflows ? Strong experience in build + go-live, implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support ? Specific experience with data integration and integration platforms (middleware/interfaces) ? Experience with systems provisioning/security and Active Directory structures ? Familiarity with project lifecycle / project management methodologies ? Proficiency with Microsoft Visio ? Professional certification in informatics, health IT, clinical, or business specialties Travel ? Travel to a West/Central Florida location is required based on project needs, estimated approximately once per month.
