Consolidated – Scrum Master II
Role: Scrum Master II
Job Overview
The Scrum Master II is responsible for working with Product Owners to ensure the Backlog is prioritized, creating successful teams with strong skills in self-organization and cross-functionality; managing the Backlog to maximize ROI and deliver the highest value outcomes; driving for continuous improvement. The Scrum Master II may also serve as a Program Manager and support business and IT leaders to adapt processes, procedures, culture, and behavior needed for successful agile delivery and the team by enacting and helping everyone understand Scrum empirical theory and pillars of transparency, inspection, and adaption. This role tracks team metrics such as Velocity, Burndown charts, Cycle time, etc. to coach the team for continuous improvement and also tracks and reports progress and value delivery to Business and IT leadership. This position is responsible for effectively coaching one or more teams where low-level coaching is required and supporting and, or overseeing one or more initiatives for a specific line of business, vertical to ensure alignment with the business’s overall roadmap as well as serve on individual initiatives that need to be managed by a Program Manager.
