Job Title: Salesforce Architect
Location: Hybrid
Job-Type: 6 month Contract to Hire
Compensation: 95-120/hr
Overview
Seeking an experienced Salesforce Enterprise Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and evolution of a large-scale Salesforce ecosystem. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership, with responsibility for driving platform modernization, architectural governance, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate can operate at both strategic and tactical levels—partnering with business leaders, influencing architectural decisions, mentoring technical teams, and solving complex enterprise challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Salesforce architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to translate organizational goals into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Assess current-state architecture, identify technical debt, and develop modernization strategies.
- Lead solution design across Salesforce, integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities, AI-driven solutions, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Provide governance, technical leadership, and mentorship to architects, engineers, and administrators.
- Serve as a trusted advisor who can influence outcomes, facilitate discussions, and drive consensus across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience leading complex Salesforce ecosystems with extensive integrations and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, security, scalability, and data architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce platform technologies, APIs, middleware solutions (MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar), and cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to develop technology roadmaps, address technical debt, and drive platform improvements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical engagement when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Architecture certifications.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, AI-enabled platform capabilities, and agile delivery practices.
- Consulting or customer-facing architecture experience.
