Job Title: Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $77,000 – $97,000 annually
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to support a growing healthcare organization with ongoing Professional Billing optimization, claims configuration, and payer contract maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative Epic team supporting more than 100 outpatient clinics while working remotely.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Epic Professional Billing workflows, claims, and/or contracts, along with the ability to translate operational needs into Epic system configuration.
Responsibilities

Support Epic Professional Billing (PB) application build, maintenance, and optimization

Configure and maintain claims processing rules and billing workflows

Perform payer contract maintenance and scheduled contract updates

Analyze and resolve production support tickets related to Professional Billing

Configure rule-based logic, custom criteria, and system workflows within Epic
-
Partner closely with Clinic Billing, Revenue Cycle, Payer Relations, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions

Participate in change control activities, testing, system upgrades, and production deployments

Support ongoing optimization initiatives and cross-functional projects involving Professional Billing and Revenue Cycle operations

Collaborate with Epic representatives and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and recommend best practices
Required Qualifications

2+ years of Epic Professional Billing (PB) experience

Experience supporting Professional Billing claims, contracts, or physician revenue cycle workflows

Experience configuring or maintaining Epic rule-based build and workflow logic

Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications

Epic Professional Billing Claims Certification

Epic Professional Billing Contracts Certification

Experience working directly with clinic billing operations

Knowledge of payer contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and claims processing

Experience supporting physician practices or ambulatory revenue cycle operations
Candidates who are not currently Epic certified may still be considered if they possess relevant Professional Billing experience and are willing to obtain Epic certification after hire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative Epic team supporting more than 100 outpatient clinics while working remotely.
