Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Implementation
Charlotte, NC | Hybrid |
S/4HANA experience required — SAP alone will not be considered
We are hiring a Project Manager for a well-known enterprise client in Charlotte who is deep into an SAP S/4HANA transformation. This is not a general SAP role. We need someone who has been in the room on an S/4HANA implementation, understands the complexity of that migration, and can drive a large-scale enterprise program without losing stakeholders along the way.
If that is your background, keep reading.
What You Will Do
• Own end-to-end project management for an enterprise SAP S/4HANA implementation program
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, dependency maps, and executive status reporting
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders across IT, finance, operations, and senior leadership
• Coordinate workstreams across internal teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors
• Drive change management activities to support business readiness and user adoption
• Track milestones, surface risks early, and keep the program moving
• Manage project tasks and backlog in Jira with disciplined documentation practices
What You Bring
• 3 to 5 years of enterprise project management experience
• Direct, hands-on experience managing SAP S/4HANA implementations — this is a hard requirement
• Strong proficiency in Jira for project tracking and backlog management
• Ability to communicate complex program status clearly to executive audiences
• Experience working in Agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
• PMP certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field
Bonus Points
• SAP Activate methodology experience
• Experience managing SAP system integrators or third-party delivery partners
• Change management framework experience (Prosci, ADKAR)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Project
