Project Manager (AI Solutions)
Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Preferred Locations: Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis, MN
Overview
Gravity is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Sr. Technical Project Manager for a 12-month contract engagement (with possible extension) to lead the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. You’ll drive execution of strategic projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), partnering closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders across multiple divisions to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and aligned to product/platform goals.
This role is ideal for a hands-on delivery leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, can balance competing priorities, and brings strong Agile facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Project Delivery & Execution

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex strategic technology projects, ensuring commitments to scope, schedule, quality, and outcomes are met.

Build and lead cross-functional delivery teams, setting expectations and ensuring the team has the resources and support needed to succeed.

Monitor and manage project scope to prevent scope creep, driving alignment on changes and tradeoffs when priorities shift.
Agile Leadership & Team Enablement

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and practices, ensuring the selected framework (Scrum and/or Kanban) is applied effectively.

Partner with the Product Owner and team to ensure the product backlog is maintained, refined, and appropriately prioritized.

Capture and leverage Agile metrics and team feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Coaching, Communication & Stakeholder Management

Coach and mentor teams, Technical Project Managers, and Product Owners on Agile roles, responsibilities, and best practices.

Provide training sessions and workshops on Agile methodologies when needed.

Communicate proactively with stakeholders and senior leadership on project status, milestones, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Financial & Operational Accountability (as applicable)

Support financial management of projects, including budget tracking, forecasting, identifying savings opportunities, and reporting performance.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of project management experience with knowledge of PM disciplines, methodologies, and tools.

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) (or equivalent), with practical knowledge of Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

6+ years combined project management and Agile delivery experience.

Additional PM certification (PMP or similar) preferred.

Strong relationship-building skills with both clients and internal teams.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities, make independent decisions, and operate effectively under deadlines.

Financial management experience (budget analysis, forecasting, savings initiatives).

Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Microsoft tools.

Strong facilitation skills and excellent verbal/written communication.

Demonstrated composure and effectiveness under pressure and tight deadlines.
