Title: MS 365 Administrator
Location: Florida/ East Coast (REMOTE)

Overview
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator to join a high-impact Microsoft Services team supporting a regulated enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role focused initially on Tier 2/3 operational support (incidents/tasks) with the opportunity to expand into automation and Microsoft platform improvement projects once day-to-day volume is stabilized.
The ideal candidate is technically strong across the Microsoft stack (M365, Entra ID/Azure AD, AD on-prem), comfortable owning issues end-to-end, and brings a proactive mindset—someone who looks for recurring problems and drives durable fixes through automation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support escalations from the Help Desk and own resolution of Tier 2/3 incidents and service requests related to Microsoft identity and productivity services.
- Administer and troubleshoot:
- Microsoft 365 services and configurations
- Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access components
- On-prem Active Directory (including policies and access administration)
- Partner with internal IT teams to diagnose issues, restore services, and reduce repeat incidents.
- Identify recurring problems and propose/implement improvements (automation, standardization, documentation).
- Contribute to backlog and project work as bandwidth allows, including Microsoft platform enhancements and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall IT experience, including 2–3+ years in a systems administration / Microsoft 365 administration capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Active Directory (on-prem) administration and troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 administration/support
- Entra ID (Azure AD) administration/support
- Experience operating with elevated administrative responsibility (e.g., domain/global admin-level scope) in a controlled environment.
- Automation experience using PowerShell (ability to create/modify scripts to improve efficienc
- y and reduce repeat issues).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
- Professional communication skills; able to work with internal customers and IT peers.
- Experience supporting a regulated environment (healthcare, financial services, or similar).
- Familiarity with Power Automate and/or Power Apps.
