About the Role
The Senior Technology Product Strategist serves as the bridge between business strategy and technology execution. This role partners with business leaders, Solution Architects, AI Specialists, Product Teams, and Engineers to identify opportunities, shape innovative solutions, develop technology roadmaps, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation.
This position is focused on business relationship management, technology strategy, product thinking, discovery, innovation, and digital transformation. The successful candidate will help business stakeholders solve complex problems while delivering measurable business value through technology solutions.
What You Will Do
• Build strong partnerships with business leaders and stakeholders
• Facilitate discovery workshops, strategic planning sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings
• Identify business challenges, opportunities, process inefficiencies, and unmet needs
• Translate business objectives into actionable technology initiatives and roadmaps
• Partner with Solution Architects, AI Specialists, Product Teams, and Engineers to evaluate and shape solutions
• Lead solution design, ideation, and business discovery workshops
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies
• Develop and maintain strategic technology roadmaps and investment plans
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, feasibility, and strategic alignment
• Evaluate existing application portfolios to identify redundancy, optimization opportunities, and potential cost savings
• Guide initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption, and value realization
• Support organizational change management and business readiness activities
• Measure outcomes and refine solution direction based on business results
• Coach and mentor peers on discovery techniques, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning approaches
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Design, or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, or related functions
• Experience facilitating workshops, requirements discovery sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities
• Experience developing technology roadmaps, business cases, and strategic plans
• Strong understanding of Agile, Product Management, and Design Thinking methodologies
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations without direct authority
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship management skills
• Experience partnering with both business and technical teams to deliver solutions
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
• Product Management, Product Owner, SAFe, Scrum, Design Thinking, or Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience with AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience identifying and evaluating AI use cases within business processes
• Utility industry experience
• Experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or energy
• Experience working with enterprise architecture and governance processes
• Experience with application portfolio management and technology rationalization efforts
