Analytics Engineer (Contract-to-Hire) — POS & Payments Analytics (Snowflake/dbt)

Location: Toronto, ON (72 Fraser Avenue, Suite 200)
Duration: 3-month contract with strong potential extension or full-time conversion
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote (interviews conducted virtually)

Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a growing analytics engineering organization supporting a large Canadian enterprise across multiple business domains, including food services, healthcare, and hospitality operations.

The successful candidate will primarily support financial close initiatives involving Point-of-Sale (POS) and payment vendor data. Working closely with Finance, Technology, Project Management, and Data Engineering teams, you will help ensure accurate, timely, and trusted financial reporting used by operators and business leaders across Canada. The analytics engineering organization consists of approximately 16–17 analytics engineers and operates within a collaborative matrix structure that emphasizes knowledge sharing, best practices, mentorship, and innovation.
