Job Title: Middleware Support Engineer
Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire
Location: Miramar, FL (Monday–Thursday onsite, Friday’s Remote Fridays)

Responsibilities:
- Support of middleware applications (Tibco and Globalscape)
- Execute deployments to shipboard environments
- Handle STP-related tasks – support the movement of data between shoreside systems and banks
- Work from detailed documentation and internal runbooks
- Take ownership of tickets –ask questions, troubleshoot, and suggest improvements
- Some light scripting in powershell / bash
- Will participate in on call rotation
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience supporting both Linux and Windows environments in an enterprise setting
- Experience working in a SQL environment
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to execute complex technical tasks from detailed runbooks
- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot deployments across distributed systems
- Experience owning and resolving support tickets end-to-end, including investigation and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., Tibco, Globalscape) or similar enterprise integration tools
- Ability to troubleshoot data transfer workflows, including banking file transmissions (e.g., BAI, SWIFT formats)
- Some hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Bash for automation and task execution
- Understanding of enterprise security and compliance standards when managing systems or integrations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment with on-call responsibilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to interface with infrastructure, development, and business teams
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to enterprise applications such as Tibco and/or Globalscape
- Understanding of Fidelio or similar hospitality property management systems
- Experience supporting or troubleshooting corporate-to-bank data transfers (e.g., integrations with Citibank or Bank of America)
