POSITION SUMMARY:
Our client is a family of healthcare service companies that partners with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other facilities to deliver excellence in clinical staffing and administrative services.
The Revenue Systems Collections team is seeking a Software Engineer to support and enhance its technical operations. This role is responsible for managing daily collections processes, deploying workflow changes, developing ETL pipelines, and creating automated reports and dashboards to improve collections performance. Occasional troubleshooting of software on servers and local machines may also be required. |
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain end-to-end workflows within the collections system (FACS), adhering to change management policies.
- Design and implement reports and dashboards using tools such as SQL, MUMPS logic, and PowerShell.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly data processes following established procedures.
- Administer hardware and software systems used by the collections division.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all procedures.
- Prepare written communications for agency leadership and external vendors.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Document completed work, including screenshots and system configuration changes.
- Communicate system issues related to hardware, software, and programming routines.
- Maintain a log of system issues and corrective actions.
- Assist in updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Ensure system integrity across all collection division systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Skills
- Experience with collections systems (e.g., FACS or similar) and cloud-based dialing solutions (e.g. TCN or similar).
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Familiarity with Windows OS and database systems (Intersystems Cache and IRIS preferred).
- Strong Excel skills (VBA preferred).
- Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS or SQL.
- Understanding of process automation and RPA concepts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education
Minimum of one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or 3+ years of relevant experience in a related field.

Experience
- 3–5 years in computer technology or a combination of education and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a fully remote position. The Software Engineer will primarily work from a home office environment using secure access to company systems and tools. The role requires:
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet production standards.
- Occasional extended hours or overtime as needed to meet project deadlines or support critical operations.
- Infrequent visits to the Sunrise, FL office may be required for team meetings, training sessions, or special projects.
- Professional, courteous, and cooperative behavior is essential. Employees must be able to collaborate effectively with remote teams, communicate clearly, and maintain productivity in a self-directed work environment.
