Job Title: Organizational Change Manager (HR Initiatives)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion – Not Guaranteed)
Location: Fully Remote (Optional travel during testing/go-live phases)
Compensation: Up to $130/hour
Overview
Our client is seeking a senior-level Organizational Change Manager to support two high-impact enterprise initiatives within the HR domain. This individual will play a critical role in driving adoption, communication, and overall change readiness across a diverse employee population, including a large segment of field-based users.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can both define change strategy and execute deliverables, ensuring successful implementation and user adoption across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities

Lead organizational change management efforts across two concurrent enterprise initiatives

Develop and execute comprehensive change strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement approaches

Assess change impacts and readiness across various employee groups (field, corporate, call center, etc.)

Create and deliver end-user materials including:
-
Training content
-
Short-form videos
-
Infographics
-
Quick reference guides
-
Knowledge base documentation
-

Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, business units, project managers, and external vendors
-
Tailor communication strategies to meet the needs of non-desk and field-based employees
-
Drive awareness, readiness, and adoption to ensure successful program rollouts

Support stakeholder alignment and manage change-related risks and resistance
Key Initiatives

Implementation of a new commission management platform impacting 500–1,000 sales and field employees
-
High visibility initiative directly tied to compensation
-
Requires tailored communication and training strategies for non-laptop-based users

Implementation of a driver monitoring program to manage organizational risk
-
Impacts employees who drive for work or receive vehicle-related benefits
-
Requires thoughtful communication due to privacy concerns and potential employee sensitivity

Focus on positioning the program as risk management rather than surveillance

Deliver initial change management strategy within the first 2 weeks, including:

Change strategy outline

Qualifications
Required:
-
Proven experience in Organizational Change Management within enterprise environments
-
Experience supporting technology-driven implementations
-
Ability to communicate effectively across diverse employee populations, including field-based teams
-
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
-
Ability to both develop strategy and execute deliverables
Preferred:
-
Prosci or similar change management methodology experience
-
Instructional design experience
-
Experience creating training and communication materials (video, guides, presentations, etc.)
