Contract Cloud Solution Architect – Azure | Hybrid | Charlotte, NC

We’re looking for a hands-on Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize large-scale Azure cloud solutions. This role bridges engineering, architecture, and business needs, ensuring secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement enterprise cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Advise engineering teams on best practices, architecture patterns, and scalability
• Collaborate with security, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient systems
• Evaluate and integrate cloud services, IaC, and automation tools
• Lead architecture reviews, cloud adoption strategies, and migration planning
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, AKS/Kubernetes)
• Strong background in cloud architecture, solution design, and implementation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments
• Excellent communication skills to work with technical and business stakeholders
