Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Duration: Contract 
Location: Remote
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Senior Data Engineer (Healthcare + Cloud Infrastructure)
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support enterprise data initiatives, legacy modernization efforts, and cloud-based data platform development. This role primarily focuses on data engineering while offering opportunities to expand into infrastructure and cloud engineering responsibilities.
Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Python
• Support migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms
• Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes
• Develop scalable data solutions supporting healthcare analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products
• Support AWS infrastructure initiatives as needed
• Assist with Infrastructure-as-Code implementations using Terraform
• Manage secure data movement processes and permissions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Advanced SQL proficiency
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience working with healthcare datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience
• Terraform experience
• Infrastructure-as-Code exposure
• PostgreSQL experience
• DevOps exposure
• Experience with SFTP and secure data integrations
• Interest in expanding cloud engineering capabilities

Nice to Have

• Healthcare EHR data experience
• Experience supporting provider organizations
