Job Title: Workday Integrations Developer
Job Type: Contract
Job Location: Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil (Remote)
Position Summary
The Workday Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and supporting API-based integrations between Workday and third-party systems. This role partners closely with HR and IT stakeholders to translate human resources business requirements into clear technical specifications, integration designs, and high-quality delivered functionality. The ideal candidate has hands-on Workday integration experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and is fluent in Portuguese and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, build, and support inbound and outbound API integrations with Workday and external systems.
- Partner with functional, technical, and client stakeholders to define:
- Integration architecture
- Data mappings and transformation rules
- Error-handling and monitoring approaches
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure new integrations and enhancements meet business needs and do not disrupt existing Workday processes.
- Troubleshoot integration defects, data issues, and connectivity problems; perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Produce high-quality delivery documentation, including:
- Integration/design documents
- Technical specifications
- Test scripts and test evidence
- Knowledge-transfer and support materials
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Workday Integrations (API-based integration work required).
- Strong communication and requirements translation skills—able to convert HR/business needs into technical designs and specifications.
- Proven experience testing and supporting integrations in a production environment.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
