Senior Project Manager (eCommerce Platform)
Type: Contract (estimated 12 months)
Location: Remote

Project: High-visibility implementation of a new ecommerce platform (enterprise-scale; 10,000+ stores impacted)

The Opportunity

Our client is launching a major, high-impact initiative to stand up a new e?commerce platform. This role will lead the program RFP through implementation, partnering closely with executive stakeholders and multiple internal teams and third-party providers. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability engagement where delivery and stakeholder alignment are critical.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end program delivery for a new e?commerce platform implementation

• Build and socialize project charters, ensuring alignment and acceptance across stakeholders

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and communications

• Coordinate and manage resources across architects, business analysts, and key business/IT stakeholders

• Manage third-party vendors and partners; serve as our clients advocate and hold providers accountable

• Identify, document, and escalate risks/issues to senior leadership; communicate clearly and proactively

• Ensure technical and business deliverables meet requirements and are accepted by stakeholders

• Facilitate recurring leadership updates/meetings (including weekly stakeholder cadence)

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

• Senior-level Project/Program Management experience delivering large, cross-functional initiatives

• Strong e?commerce and e?commerce integration experience in a retail environment

• Solid understanding of how e?commerce + retail + POS systems integrate and operate together

• Proven experience owning delivery from RFP through implementation

• Ability to work directly with executive/C-level stakeholders in a high-visibility setting

• Strong documentation discipline and structured execution (“plan the work / work the plan”)

• Able to hit the ground running, work independently, and drive outcomes with minimal oversight

Tools / Environment

• Smartsheet (primary PM tool)

• Jira and SharePoint (required familiarity)

• Highly resilient, resourceful, and able to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics

• Comfortable operating under pressure with high expectations and tight timelines
