Senior Epic Cupid Analyst (Epic Cupid Certified)
Location: Remote (West Coast candidates strongly preferred)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $65–$86/hour | Conversion Salary: $130,000–$166,000 annually
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Epic Cupid Analyst to join a healthcare technology team supporting enterprise Epic clinical applications. This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced analyst who can independently configure, optimize, and support Epic Cupid with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate is an Epic Cupid-certified professional with extensive hospital experience, deep Epic build expertise, and the ability to quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment. This is not a project management position—we are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical and clinical workflow challenges.
Experience supporting Cardiology PACS or PACS upgrades is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, configure, build, test, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic Cupid and related clinical applications.
- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to translate complex clinical workflows into effective technical solutions.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues while evaluating patient safety, regulatory, and operational impacts.
- Lead application optimization efforts and identify opportunities to improve system performance and clinical workflows.
- Support implementation activities, system enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PACS teams, during Cardiology PACS upgrade initiatives.
- Facilitate meetings, clinical working sessions, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Produce clear documentation and communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations.
- Serve as an escalation resource for high-impact production issues and complex application support.
Required Qualifications
- Current Epic Cupid certification (required).
- Additional Epic certifications are highly preferred.
- Minimum 5-6 years of Epic Cupid experience supporting hospital or health system environments.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Epic build and configuration experience.
- Proven ability to work independently with little to no training or supervision.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, terminology, and healthcare operations.
- Experience configuring, testing, supporting, and optimizing Epic applications in a complex healthcare environment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or participating in Cardiology PACS implementations or upgrade projects.
- Additional Epic certifications.
- Clinical licensure or certification in a related healthcare discipline.
- Experience with third-party healthcare application integrations.
Education
- Associate’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Allied Health, or a related field.
OR
- Four years of progressively responsible healthcare clinical applications experience may be substituted for a degree.
