Job Title: Senior Application Analyst
Location: Remote (Can not hire from CA, NY, NJ, RI, MT HI, CO, MA, OR)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-Month Contract with Opportunity for Full-Time Employment)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Application Analyst to support an existing backlog of configuration and build efforts focused on application lifecycle initiatives that extend beyond the current team’s resource capacity.

This individual will support products related to application decommissioning, data archiving, enterprise architecture, retention scheduling, and application portfolio management by providing application support, break/fix troubleshooting, configuration, development, maintenance, upgrades, and operational support. The role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, administer, and support enterprise applications by translating business requirements into system configurations and technical solutions.

  • Design, build, configure, install, and maintain enterprise applications supporting clinical, administrative, financial, and operational workflows.

  • Provide day-to-day application support, including break/fix troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, maintenance, and operational support.

  • Support application lifecycle initiatives, including application decommissioning, data archiving, retention scheduling, and enterprise architecture software.

  • Analyze business workflows and evaluate how assigned applications interact with the supporting technical environment.

  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements to optimize application performance and stability.

  • Configure application security, manage security roles, permissions, and governance.

  • Perform application testing, validation, quality assurance, and support software implementations and upgrades.

  • Create reports and validate application data.

  • Develop and maintain application documentation, configuration documentation, and testing documentation.

  • Provide end-user support, onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer.

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users at all levels of the organization.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors during implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support activities.

  • Understand assigned products’ functionality, integrations, and interactions with other enterprise systems through APIs.

  • Analyze and resolve multifaceted and highly complex technical issues.

  • Participate in application optimization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Participate in on-call rotations.

  • Perform other duties as reasonably required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications throughout the application lifecycle.

  • Experience with application support, break/fix troubleshooting, configuration, design/build activities, patching, and upgrades.

  • Experience translating business requirements into application configurations and technical solutions.

  • Experience configuring application security, user roles, permissions, and governance.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise application integrations and APIs.

  • Experience performing application testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

  • Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Experience supporting enterprise application implementations and system enhancements.

  • Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
