Our client is looking for a versatile technologist to lead the execution of Application Rationalization. This role is product owner role, responsible for execution, but having program management and portfolio analyst skills would be beneficial. The mission is not to build software, it is to build an enterprise capability that evolves into a Technology Lifecycle Management function.

Overview: The Technology Portfolio Product Owner will help establish the Enterprise Application Rationalization and Technology Lifecycle Management capability. This role will drive execution across governance, application portfolio management, technology investment optimization, data quality, lifecycle management, and value realization. Working across Strategy & Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Procurement, and Technology, the Product Owner will operationalize clients’ Application Rationalization operating model while helping establish a trusted System of Record, System of Action, and continuous portfolio governance capability. Serve as the Technology Portfolio Integrator, connecting Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, Finance, Security, DEX, and Business Technology teams to ensure every significant technology investment follows a common lifecycle, governance model, and value realization process.

• Technology Lifecycle playbook.
• Executive Value Realization dashboard.
• FY27 operational roadmap.
• Self-funding transition plan.

 
Responsibilities
1. Operationalize the Application Rationalization Operating Model Own execution of the Technology Lifecycle Management framework.
2. Build the Enterprise System of Record Partner across teams to improve portfolio data quality.
3. Own Portfolio Governance and Coordinate Quarterly Technology Governance Reviews
4. Drive Technology Lifecycle Management Operationalize the cross functional model
5. Lead TIME (tolerate, invest, migrate, eliminate) Classification Process and Coordinate Business reviews and EA reviews
6. Develop Executive Dashboards Produce CIO reporting of progress towards metrics in the value realization model
7. Drive Value Realization. Partner with Finance to validate savings, cost avoidance, ROI
8. Coordinate Contract Renewal Pipeline and Maintain 6-quarter renewal roadmap and renewal playbooks
9. Continuous Improvement. Continuously mature governance, processes, data quality and reporting
