CLIENT OVERVIEW

Our automotive industry client is currently responsible for the distribution of all new Toyotas in the Southeast. They are currently ranked in the Top 20 companies to work for in the US by Fortune Magazine, Top 20 best companies for diversity and have an amazing work culture and impressive long-term growth prospects.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Our client recently purchased Workday to replace their old legacy HRIS system. Within this system they were looking to utilize Workday for Payroll Management, Time Tracking, Human Resource Management, and Talent Management. Gravity IT Resources was engaged to buildout two Workday specific teams (HR / HR IT) to support their Workday implementation across the organization.

BUSINESS PROBLEM & OBJECTIVE

The Workday platform needed to be properly implemented and then integrated with tools utilized across multiple business units. It was imperative that the cloud-based solutions were configured properly during the project. Correct implantation would allow for a smooth transition of use across  Payroll Management, Time Tracking, Human Resource Management, and Talent Management for the organization.

GRAVITY IT STAFFING

Gravity employed its ERP staffing services capability to help build the HR and HR IT project teams in effort to support their Workday implementation across the organization.  Successful delivery of the Workday implementation team required the following SME resources:

(1)  Sr. Workday Developer

(2)  Workday Administrator

Gravity used its “referral-driven” sourcing model and its recruiters aligned with Work Developer/ Administrator/ Architect skill sets to identify multiple, local resources to staff the project.  Gravity then executed its 5-step vetting process to present the best consultants for the open positions.  The Sr. Workday Developer and Workday Administrator positions have been staffed and are executing on the project.

RESULTS

Under the direction of our clients HR and HR IT teams, Gravity’s placed  resources are now working to integrate Workday utilizing EIBs and Core Connectors with our clients internal and external applications.
