Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: NYC, New York (Hybrid 2 days a week)
Job-Type:  Contract (1 year+)

Employment Eligibility: Gravity cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly (we are not open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements).

Position Overview:
In this role you will work closely with a Compliance Analytics team within a F500 company. You will be focused on identifying key areas for improvement in compliance strategy and policies and will then build and maintain Tableau dashboards for visualization, data analysis, and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to understand and recommend key areas for strategy improvement
• Assist in development and preparation of KPI reviews and leadership updates
• Build, maintain, and improve Tableau dashboards
• Implement and maintain data pipelines, defining requirements with data engineers

Required Experience & Skills:

• 4 + years working with Tableau (or other reporting tools like Looker, PowerBI, SSRS, etc.)
• Extensive SQL experience – building SQL queries, using SQL to build and modify reports, etc.
• Experience using Github
• 4+ years of experience analyzing and reporting on data in areas such as cyber security, information security, digital products, and fraud detection
• Experience working with Data Engineers – collaborating on projects, building, and defining requirements for Data Engineers to work on, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree required
