Job Title: Head of Technology

About Us: Our client is a leading law firm specializing in Litigation. We are committed to providing exceptional legal services to our clients and leveraging technology to enhance our operations and client experience. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Technology to join our team and drive our technological initiatives.

Job Summary: The Head of Technology will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and experience in managing technology in a legal or professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions to improve efficiency, security, and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the firm’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the firm’s data and IT systems.
  • Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance productivity and client service.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the legal industry and assess their potential impact on the firm.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the legal or professional services industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement technology strategies that drive business success.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
