Summary

The Sr. GRC Manager will lead the organization’s governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to security best practices. This role requires a proactive leader who can assess and structure the GRC function, develop strategic policies, and drive change management efforts across an initially decentralized organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled in risk assessment, security program development, and executive influence, with a strong ability to unify teams and establish a scalable compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee risk management activities, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to security protocols.
- Conduct validation checks on security measures and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze team capabilities, identifying skill gaps and optimizing roles within the GRC function.
- Define and structure organizational responsibilities to enhance risk governance.
- Develop and implement governance, risk, and compliance policies tailored to the company’s needs.
- Lead buy-in efforts and manage change.
- Establish strategic compliance initiatives that align with industry standards and business objectives.
