Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Type: Contract – 1 year plus
Overview
Our fintech client is seeking a highly motivated Product Owner with deep experience in Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Salesforce-driven initiatives. This is a critical role within a cross-functional Agile team that includes developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines product leadership, hands-on Salesforce knowledge, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories. Familiarity with machine learning capabilities within Salesforce or adjacent platforms is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and manage stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams.
- Translate business needs into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize backlog items to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Guide the development and optimization of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud features.
- Partner with data teams to support initiatives that leverage machine learning or AI insights.
- Ensure scalability, usability, and adoption of Salesforce solutions across the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for business units to align features and timelines with user needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a technology environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Strong experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and driving agile ceremonies.
- Proven success in cross-functional environments and working with technical delivery teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in fintech or regulated industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI-enhanced user experiences is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to tools like Jira or similar for backlog and roadmap management.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., third-party APIs, financial systems).
- Knowledge of compliance or regulatory requirements in fintech environments.
