Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with a strong foundation in domain-driven data modeling to help design and implement canonical data models that align with our enterprise data strategy. This role is critical in shaping how data is structured, shared, and understood across business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop canonical data models that support interoperability and consistency across systems.
• Apply domain-driven design (DDD) principles to model business concepts and relationships effectively.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models.
• Ensure models are scalable, reusable, and aligned with enterprise data governance standards.
• Maintain documentation and metadata for all models created.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in domain-driven data modeling and creating canonical models in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Hackolade or similar data modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of data modeling best practices, including normalization, abstraction, and semantic consistency.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms and architectures (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, event-driven systems).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with polyglot persistence and modeling for multiple data storage technologies.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and API design.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
