Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Asset Management 
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in office per week)
Job Type: Long-Term Contract

About the Role:
Our client in the asset management space is seeking a high-performing Senior Software Engineer to support and enhance internal applications on the private investments side of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, programming, and cloud-native development, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and fine-tune data models using SQL and Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives.

• Develop and maintain internal tools and applications using C# (or Python) with solid object-oriented programming practices.

• Leverage Azure and other Microsoft cloud-native services to create scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Partner directly with senior business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver results with independence and accountability.

• Collaborate with peers to refine requirements and align development efforts with business goals.

• Contribute to the culture by being a reliable, coachable, and engaged team player with a high sense of ownership.

• Understanding and light experience in front end development is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 6–12 years of hands-on software development experience.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, be a self-starter, coachable, and open to new ideas.

• Experience working in a private investments’ environment, banking environment, or general understanding of finance and accounting is required.
