Director, IT PMO

Our client, a newly independent life sciences company undergoing a private equity carve-out, is seeking a Director of PMO to drive enterprise-wide program oversight and transformation delivery. This leader will manage cross-functional initiatives, including the ongoing SAP S/4HANA deployment, legacy system transitions, and change management across a validated systems environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning, prioritization, and execution tracking across enterprise IT and business programs.
• Oversee demand management, financial planning, and vendor coordination.
• Deliver executive-level status reporting and communications.
• Support change management efforts to drive adoption and culture alignment (Prosci/ADKAR helpful but not required).
• Ensure program success within a lean, fast-paced environment—focused on flexibility and outcomes over process rigidity.

About the Environment:

• Carve-out from a legacy life sciences business, modernizing under private equity ownership.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation in progress with PwC and Azure private cloud hosting.
• Lean team, high accountability culture, and strong third-party vendor partnerships.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of enterprise program or PMO leadership experience, including ERP or systems transformation work.
• Proven experience in financial and demand planning, status reporting, and vendor oversight.
• Strong communication and change management skills in dynamic, regulated environments.
• Background in life sciences, pharma, or other FDA-compliant sectors strongly preferred.
