Job Title: SAP PM Functional Consultant
Job Type: 6-month Contract
Job Location: (Remote in North or South America)
Job Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Analysis

  1. Work closely with business users to gather and understand user requirements.
  2. Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
  3. Determine which change requests require configuration changes and which require customization in SAP.

Design and Configuration

  1. Design, configure, and deploy SAP processes within SAP Plant Maintenance modules.
  2. Focus on finding out of the box or configuration options that satisfy the user requests.

Development Assistance

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of changes based on technical specifications.
  2. Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and efficient development of customizations.

Workflow Analysis and Improvement

  1. Analyze current workflows to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  2. Propose and implement solutions to streamline and enhance workflows.

Integration

  1. Integrate with other SAP modules (e.g., Procurement) to streamline operations and ensure seamless data flow.

Testing and Validation

  1. Conduct testing and validation of configured and customized solutions.
  2. Ensure solutions meet business requirements and function as intended.

Documentation and Training

  1. Create and maintain documentation for configured and customized processes.
  2. Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. For those candidates without a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
  3. Extensive experience with SAP Plant Maintenance processes.
  4. Strong understanding of SAP configuration and customization.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  8. Strong requirements elicitation, gathering, and documentation skills, at business, functional, and technical levels.
  9. Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions.
  10. Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills.
  11. Highly organized.
  12. Ability to effectively work and create effective partnerships with employees at all levels within the organization.
  13. Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  14. Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  15. Multilingual English and Portuguese a plus.
  16. Ability to take ownership of a problem and drive it to resolution.
