Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Job Location: Remote in South America
Job Overview:
Responsible for developing, testing, and deploying SAP applications with an emphasis on SAP’s ABAP programming and Fiori technologies. This role focuses on enhancing user interfaces within the SAP system, resolving defects, and automating business processes through SAP workflows. The developer will collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of solutions while maintaining comprehensive documentation and adhering to best coding practices.

  • Design, develop, and implement SAP Fiori applications.
  • Address and resolve defects related to applications and SAP workflows.
  • Develop and maintain SAP workflows to automate business processes.
  • Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
  • Test developed solutions thoroughly and deploy them into the SAP environment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, specifications, and development work.
  • Ensure all code adheres to best practices and is optimized for performance.
  • Estimation, Design Documents, Code, Test Results, Incidents, and Service requests closure.
  • Adhere to SAP Clean Core tenants.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
    • Knowledge of BTP Launchpad, integration of workflow in WD ABAP component configuration framework, BOPF.
    • Experience with Enhancing user interfaces within the SAP system Clean Core.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing and customizing UI elements using SAP FIORI technology.
    • Hands-on coding and development of custom objects in scope.
    • Responsible for developing, testing, and deploying SAP applications with an emphasis on SAP’s ABAP programming and Fiori technologies.
    • Work with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
    • Design and implement UI components using SAP Fiori.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
    • Perform unit testing and participate in integration testing.
    • Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integrations.
