Position Overview
Gravity is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who lives for outcomes, not outputs. This role is built for someone who thrives in a high-accountability, high-clarity growth environment — someone who can architect, optimize, and own paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, paid social, and emerging performance channels.
You’ll manage media budgets within a strategic operating plan, lead campaign execution (either directly or through agency partners), and serve as the nerve center for attribution, reporting, and performance diagnostics across the funnel.
You’ll report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the CMO in a culture where conversion cost, lead quality, and ARR contribution matter more than vanity metrics.
What You’ll Own
- Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Lead strategy and hands-on execution across Google Ads and paid digital channels (social, display, retargeting, native, etc.)
- Allocate and optimize budgets based on channel performance and company priorities
- Evaluate when to execute internally versus using agency partners
- Conversion Optimization & Attribution
- A/B test continuously to optimize for CPL, MQL quality, and pipeline speed
- Use HubSpot, GA4, and attribution tools to track performance from click to revenue
- Work with Marketing Ops and RevOps to improve funnel visibility and analytics logic
- Reporting & Accountability
- Define and report on performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution)
- Deliver weekly updates, monthly dashboards, and quarterly retros with executive visibility
- Recommend strategic shifts using data-backed insights
- Own media spend management and align it with performance outcomes (leads, opportunities, revenue)
- Set and manage lead generation goals with consistent, transparent reporting
- AI-Forward Execution
- Utilize AI tools for creative, targeting, segmentation, and performance analysis
- Advocate for an AI-native mindset in performance marketing operations
- Agency & Vendor Management
- Select and manage agency partners with clear expectations and ROI-based evaluation
- Avoid passive retainers — optimize for performance, not presence
What We’re Looking For Preferred
- Required:
- 5+ years in digital/performance marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven expertise with Google Ads and strong familiarity with HubSpot marketing automation
- Deep understanding of attribution models and performance metrics
- Demonstrated track record of driving pipeline and revenue
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, proactive work style
- Preferred:
- Background in HR Tech or Work Tech industries
- Experience with paid social (LinkedIn, Meta), display networks, and programmatic media
- Previous experience managing and evaluating digital agencies
- Strong cross-functional understanding of marketing, sales, and RevOps alignment
