Job Title: Sr. Data and Report Analyst
Type: 12-month contract – likelihood of extensions
Client Location: Deerfield Beach, FL
Onsite Requirements: Fully Remote
Overview:
Our client is undergoing a multi-year Modernization initiative to transition from legacy mainframe applications to a modern, cloud-based system. We are seeking a Sr. Data and Report Analyst to support this effort, with an initial focus on requirements documentation in collaboration with business stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented self-starter who excels at both documentation and reporting, understands data flows, and can effectively translate business needs into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business users to facilitate the completion of requirement documentation and ensure timely delivery.
• Track documentation progress, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate next steps.
• Create clear, accurate, and user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or SAS.
• Select appropriate visualizations to effectively communicate key insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist with source-to-target data mapping to support system modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, data, and technical stakeholders.
• Write both technical and non-technical documentation aligned with department governance standards.
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of reporting solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a data/reporting analyst.
• Proven experience working with business users to gather requirements and produce documentation.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (preferred) and/or SAS Enterprise Guide (plus).
• Experience with data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
• Ability to understand data flows and contribute to source-to-target mapping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Alfa systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in financial services or automotive finance.
• Experience supporting large-scale system modernization or data migration projects.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
